How to make Sangria, my style

Posted on 09. Apr, 2006 by Maya in Food

1. Get a bottle of leftover red wine.

2. Grab a bottle of sparkling juice - the pseudo wine - from your uncle’s Chinese New Year hamper. He won’t mind.

3. Find an apple and two oranges (the more Vitamin C, the better eh?).

4. Wash fruits and cut them up into little squares. I don’t bother with peeling apples either. The good stuff in mostly on the skin. Well, actually, lots of wax is on the skin as well. Oh but get the skin off the oranges. You don’t want to eat orange peel.

5. Pour red wine and sparkling juice into a large jug. Throw in the cubed fruits. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir well.

6. Chill in the fridge overnight. Don’t give in to temptation. Good things come to those who wait.

7. Serve sangria chilled - enjoy with pals or drink it up yourself while watching TV.

Hic….Cheers!

Will try your concoction out for sure…thanks!

Hi Marsha, Yes, do try out and let me know if it works on your end. Mine turned out fine but then again, after a tiring hike for Qing Ming, anything can be gulped down with gratitude!

Hi Hoyoyi,
Actually, anything can be campur-campur and made into something delicious as long as you mix the right tastes together. Eh, you go for food tasting meh? I thought you are a designer????
